Health Sciences Study: UNB Saint John

The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is exploring new Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Doctor of Optometry (OD) programs alongside the consolidation of its Faculty of Nursing at the Saint John campus. In 2026, we studied the space and program requirements for an integrated health sciences environment, informing a Functional Space Program for a proposed Integrated Health Sciences Building. 

A site between K.C. Irving Hall and Klohn Commons connects the proposed facility with the existing health sciences precinct. The study provides UNB with a framework for an integrated approach to health sciences education, supporting collaboration and shared resources.
