University of Guelph Humber / Massing and Phasing Plan for North Campus

With a mandate to meet projected enrollments, enhance student life, and further pedestrianize the campus, the University of Guelph Humber is planning a large new student service and academic building. In conjunction with a functional space program, ACI’s scope of work for this assignment centred on site selection, massing studies and phasing plans. A requirement to create a flexible building adaptable to future program shifts was paramount to the success of this design.

Major infrastructure requirements for campus development included connections with a light-rapid-transit (LRT) station, as well as parking lot and road re-configuration.
