George Brown College / Casa Loma Campus Student Centre Renovation and Implementation Plan

Commissioned by the Student Association of George Brown College (SA) and developed through extensive end user consultations and stakeholder reviews. This assignment was aimed at improving the quality of student life on the Casa Loma Campus. The project resulted in a design that focused on creating a number of efficient, active, open, light-filled, and flexible student and food spaces. The renovation scenarios focused on using the existing Student Centre space of approximately 3,000 square metres at the Casa Loma Campus. Through schematic floor and furniture plans, the study envisions renovation scenarios that better reflect the Student Association’s primary objectives of offering non-academic and student amenity spaces that further augment the student experience.
